On-Call

πŸ”Š Configurable Alert Volume

πŸ”Š Configurable Alert Volume

When every second counts, setting the right alert volume can make all the difference. With Configurable Alert Volume, on both iOS and Android, responders can control notification intensity to stay informed without unnecessary noise or stress. Alerts should wake you up calmlyβ€”not startle you out of deep sleep.

‍Why This is Great for Responders:
  • Wake Up Calmly: Alerts are designed to notify, not to panic. Configure volume for a steady wake-up without the shock.
  • Set the Right Alert Level: Setting a personalized alert volume level helps ensure you only get the most essential updates to stay focused on what matters.
  • Combat Alert Fatigue: Customizing volume helps prevent burnout and keeps responders engaged during critical incidents.
  • Boost Efficiency: Fewer distractions mean faster response times and improved incident handling.

To set your alert volume, go to Rootly mobile app > Settings > Sounds > Alert Notifications and adjust to your preference.

Make sure to update your Rootly app to the latest version to enjoy this new feature!
