Claire Leverne is a mechanical engineer, outdoor-rescue professional, and lifelong adventurer. Her portfolio includes: writing code to automate manufacturing processes, modernizing aircraft carrier systems, hiking out into the woods to find lost people, getting lost, building drones, and being a kick-ass mountain biker. Currently pursuing a dual Master’s in Environmental Management & Sustainability, she hopes to apply her love of technical systems-thinking to complex environmental problems. Claire lives in the Shenandoah Valley with her husband Lowell, and two slobbery doggos: Juniper and Penelope.
